This is goodbye.

I have decided that the blog needs to end, I hardly write on it anymore and for those of you that are still interested in what is going on out here we speak to via Skype and Facebook, so goodbye blog.  I will put pictures on Raj's and try to control his rants via his blog now and again :)
Many things have changed this year, with new friends made came the loss of old ones, those who we chat to still we hold dear, but life moves on.  We love it here and will not be living in the UK again (unless or PR does not go through) we need to start fresh here, concentrate on roof over our heads, food on the table and happy smiles all round.

Good bye dear blog :)

Christmas Spirit

Well Christmas shopping and stress over money done!! Now we can sit back and enjoy the Christmas Spirit which here on the island is everywhere, everyone so happy and friendly, christmas lights on every house and concerts and christmas carols in every school.  Hayden had his Christmas concert last night and it was fabulous, even more so as these are the children I teach too :)

Hayden and his friends waiting back stage :)

This is his friends, Owen and Daniel

First on stage singing Jingle Bells

Frosty the Snowman got him doing some dance moves, much to the audiences delight.

Excited to find out who the special guest is...

...and patiently waiting ...

Finally thanks to alphabetical lists his name is called :) HO HO HO

And Santa knows Hayden loves Star Wars with an extra special light saber lip balm!!! Now he has it all!!

The November Christmas Parade

The time is here, and always a great reminder to Raj that Christmas is on the way and to remember card and gift for wife!!
We all got dressed up nice and warm and headed downtown Charlottetown for the annual Christmas Parade (which is basically the same floats as cup and saucer day with lights and signs about Jesus!)  Its an excuse to go out wrap up and get in the christmas spirit for the evening, even if it is November :)
Me and my special Lady :)
The kids waited patiently and were so excited to see Santa heading on in on his sleigh at the end.
Eagerly awaiting Santa

and the girlies all wrapped up :)

Sean and Amanda made the most delicious hearty food and made margeritas for the evening, which was welcomed after 3 hours on the sidewalk (pavement!!)lol
The lovely new couple Amanda and Sean :)

Andy and Ilsa

Finally Happy Days are here again with smiles on our faces :)

Missing friends

Now that Taryn is growing away and friends are having new additions to their families too I feel a little home sick. Not missing the place the bloody house (which has caused, and is causing, all sorts of pain in our lives) or the country...but the people, my friends and family.

Taryn is walking, talking and cooking up a storm now...into everything and a temper to match the hair colour.

Sorry about the delay!

Its been a while since I put anything up here on the blog, what with sorting our house in the UK and 2 kids (stay at home mum being the hardest job ever) and working weekends, I just never get the time.  Facebook does seem like the easier option for pictures, but for those of you not on Facebook, I must continue :)
So Taryn in cot and Hayden playing the new kinect game on the XBox, I can finally get down to adding some pictures for you all and getting Christmas ready! only 47 something days you know!

Its November now and I have said this so many times but the last 2 months have been ever so busy.
It was nice to chill out at Ben's Birthday Party with the kids and play around.

The Brimble thought tongue....reminds me of my brother :)

On the train...next stop grub!

Biased I may be but that is one gorgeous girl :)

Love this picture...she crawled all the way through with no pushing, such a dare devil :)

Eating ...no, but fun to play with....yes :)

Hayden is growing up so fast one of the biggest at the party :)

Analise being the lady and removing the messy paper first.

Birthday Boy Ben with his Hungry Caterpillar Head...face first!

Laura being the most helpful again...love this little lady :)

Ben and his presents :)

Taryn riding Ben's bike
I have added some videos to Facebook too of Taryn and Hayden if you do have it you could check them out :)

Photos to follow...

So Russell headed home today and the kids have got used to him being around so much, Hayden told me to wait for Grandad before eating dinner and Taryn stood at the top of the stairs calling down for 'gan gad' until I took her down there to show her he had left :)  So little they really dont understand!  I do hope we can retunr to the UK at some point next year to see friends and family and to save the parents the trip once more :) Money makes the world go around and the flights go around too!!
So its preparation time for the winter now as it was the first icy roof morning this morning and even though the days are glorious sunshine the evenings are cold! (bring out the winter duvet)
So back to normality, after Thanksgiving and the Taz fest apart from a couple of birthdays its waiting for Christmas!  Hopefully gonna chill and get into some exercise routine before then.
The new house is fab, I love it, feels like home and the area is great. We are just across the road from Amanda Connor and Caleigh, which is great and just 2 minute walk away is the town hall where loads of things take place and there is a free gym :)
Hayden starts his ice skating lessons on Monday, very excited and anxious...hoping he likes it, as its in excuse for me to get some and skate with him :)
Raj is still loving the job and very content with everything here, looking forward to when the UK is sorted and we can focus on life here.  Prince Edward Island - Our Home :)

The trip to Halifax

During August we went to collect Russell from Halifax and decided to go overnight and stay with friends Carrie and Steven, with their son Alex, who were some of the first people I met on the Island and moved away about 10months ago :(  It was also our first trip on the Ferry into Nova Scotia :)

Eating our dinner on our return journey.
Saying bye-bye to PEI
Taryn loved the wind in her hair :)
Hayden avoided it!
They played together
and we had chocolate milk
Lots of hugs :)

September already!

Its been exactly a month since my last blog...are you still out there?  I have some photos and news :)

A couple more beach days and then Fall Flavours and the Autumn season coming.  We had a Hurricane and  a heat wave and another Gold Cup and Saucer Parade!!

Taryn building sand castles on Brackley Beach
Laura and Hayden heading into the sea :)
Taryn having a bottle in the sun :)
Hayden collecting seaweed to eat :(
Taryn having a bath after a busy day at the beach!
THE PARADE - Taryn's first one of many no doubt!
The Bottomley-Masons join us for the day :)
In typical PEI style the parade starts with gorgeous horses...
...and terrible Buzz Lightyears...
... giant beavers...
and weird walking waving spuds!
We all loved it all the same :)

We have now moved and hopefully this will be the last move for a while, a very nice house in Stratford, PEI.  Everyone seems happy, even the cat, so a sign of good things to come.

Issues back in UK with the house (if you read Raj's blog you will be aware) however no use worrying, just need to do what we can and move on with it!
Hayden has moved to a new kindergarten and is enjoying it more...made loads of friends (who all love his accent) and makes Lego for most of the day :)
I am happy in my new job as a night auditor in a local hotel 'Canadas Best Value Inn and Suites'  and we can use the pool on hot days with the kids :)
All of us in!
Hayden waving and jumping in :)

Taryn getting dried off

Finally able to put in for Permanent Residency (lets hope they like us) and just waiting for the go ahead to say we have been approved :)
