Ok so May is lovely here on the island and how better to start the month than with Fish and Chips at Brits (where by the way if you didnt already know I now have a part time little waitressing job)
Hayden wondered what to have!!
Taryn knew! she is so alert and watches everyone (nosey like her mother!)
On the Saturday we went To Jim (Gary) and Grainnie (prenounced Sonya with a Gr...Gronya) house for a curry night and very nice too...they are a British couple who have been on the island for over 2 years. Jim works with Raj and Grainnie is a school teacher, secondary, music and drama. First time we have met and she is Fab...another girl for the martini night.
On the way to their house we found a lovely spot to build a house! only $38,000 for the land and look at that view!!
On the Sunday Raj had a epiphany and decided he wanted to drive to Monkton, never one to say no to a shopping trip I packed up the car with a picnic, more money for shopping, and we all drove the drive through PEI, acroos confed brigde and to Monkton the nearest decent Mall.
The new car was fab and a great feel for the trip to Boston.
Raj was comfortable and Hayden had loads of room in the back :)
Even had cruise control so no need for feet!
Oh by the way...have I yet told you how SPOILT my son is??
VERY! This lego set was a pressie from Daddy, god knows what for???
but it was cool and they loved doing it together :)
I love May, its a great month and the kids are fab, Hayden and Taryn playing lovely together...here's to a good month :)
